The best way to tell what beauty products are worth their salt is by seeing which ones you actually use up before replacing them. I have a drawer filled with half empty cleansers that made my face explode in breakouts, and foundations that have been hidden since my oompah loompah phase that will forever remain untouched. On the other hand there are many products I use right up till the last drop, spray, or smudge, like the ones I'm sharing with you here!
Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce texturising spray
I consider myself incredibly lucky with the colour and condition of my hair, but it is definitely not naturally voluminous! This texturising spray is literally height and volume in a can, and after a quick spritz (and a brush through to remove the initially sticky feeling) it really does give my hair a boost that'll last all day long - and for a very reasonable highstreet price! Would I repurchase? I already have!
Lancome Doll Eyes mascara
After running out of this mascara a year or two I decided to branch out and try other mascaras before settling down. But once again just like a few years ago I've used it all up because of how great it is, and now I'm ready to commit. This smudgeproof formula does a really good job of separating lashes thanks to the beautifully shaped brush, with none of that clumpy business. It's great for me because I prefer a natural lash look, but if you layer it enough it's great for volume too. Would I repurchase? Definitely.
Benefit Dandelion blusher
Baby pink is the best blush colour for me because of my pale skin tone, and Benefit's Dandelion definitely ticks that box. It adds a lovely splash of rose pink to my face and it also cuts down the number of brushes you need in your make up bag because it comes with its own brush! Would I repurchase? Maybe - I love the colour, but I'm intrigued by the beautiful marbled shades available in the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush, so I think I'll give that a try next.
Kiehl's Micro-Blue Skin Perfector
Okay so this was only a free sample, so it's not too impressive that I've used all 5ml of it... Even so, it's a sample that I now definitely want to buy - oh the wonders of marketing! I use the Kiehl's BB Cream religiously, so it's no surprise I love the combination of it with this Kiehl's primer. It's quite liquidy when you apply it, which means it adds an extra layer of moisture to my often dry skin, making the application of my BB Cream much smoother. Would I purchase? Definitely.
