Of all the things I buy, I probably see 80% of them for the first time on Instagram (also because I approximately spend 80% of the day on Instagram, as my boyfriend can vouch for). And this jumper is no exception. I don't know about you, but on my feed there will always be that one product that is constantly popping up that everyone seems to magically be able to afford: the Chloe Faye bag for Autumn, the Triangl bikini as Summer approaches, Gucci slippers... But right now this jumper is popping up here, there and everywhere, and thankfully it is at a much more reasonable price because it's from good ol' H&M.

Flared sleeves have been a bit of a thing for a while now, and they also massively divide opinions. Wide sleeve boho tops were all the rage last summer, now it's all about wide cuffed shirts - definitely next on my wishlist. But for inductees in the world of flared sleeves, like myself, the flare really lends itself to knitwear: an item of clothing that is already so comfortable and easy to style, made just that little bit more jazzy with a bit of flare at the end. This jumper is a great starting point for this trend because of how slim fitting it is in the body, not to mention the cute frilly neck detail. I'm a sucker for a good frill.
I styled the knit with a raw hem denim skirt - you know the rule: if you show leg then you can't show boob - which was perfect for a typically breezy September day in London, along with my Lulu Guinness and pointed leather pumps to smarten the outfit up. But even as the temperature drops I know I'll be able to chuck this jumper on with my trusty Mom jeans, or my freshly delivered denim dungarees for a cosy, casual winter outfit!
Are you a lover or a hater of flared sleeves?
